Angel's End Zone is proud to once again help support a local
children's non-profit program. Angel Sanders, owner, was approached by Lindy
Rucker on behalf of her son, Casey. Casey was fortunate enough to be the
recepient of a very large set of Mardi Gras beads from a fund-raiser in Grand
Junction this summer. He and mom attended the annual Pinnacle Homes Country Jam
at the end of the June. "Just before Sugarland got up on stage to perform, the
promoters announced that they were giving the beads to Casey!" said Lindy. The
gigantic beads are a part of every Country Jam to help raise money for a local
charity in Grand Junction. The donors would give a donation for having their
picture taken with the beads. After the beads made it to Cortez, mom and Casey
decided to PAY IT FORWARD by doing the same thing here. "We felt that the best
way to benefit from these beads was to do another fundraiser for the Family
Support Services Program, a part of Community Connections, Inc. This program is
one that provides resources to families with disabled children in our community.
One of the financial sources for this program is fundraising" says Rucker. These
beads will be given away to one lucky winner during the Monday Night Football
game between Denver and Oakland at Angel's End Zone. Donors names will go into
the drawing. The beads are being displayed at Angel's and donors can have their
picture taken for a donation. "Our goal is to hopefully raise $500 or more for
this important childrens program" says Rucker. For information on the 'Biggest
Balls' in Cortez promotion, please contact Lindy at 560-1526 or Angels' End
Zone at 565-4022. Angel's End Zone is proud to once again help support a local
